Today we had our first of two sessions with Paula from the Life Education Trust. The Life Education Mobile Classroom is a health resource for pre-school, primary and intermediate schools that fits in closely with the Ministry of Education's Health and Physical Education Curriculum and Science Curriculum, and is delivered using multi-sensory teaching techniques to encourage all learning styles and help with retention of knowledge. All students will be visiting the classroom for lessons on social relationships. The modules focus on friendships, bullying and self-responsibility. Children look at concepts such as being friendly as opposed to being a friend, and they learn about managing conflict. Parents are welcome to visit the caravan to meet Paula and Harold on Wednesday, 23rd February at 2.00pm until 2.30pm.

We were lucky enough to participate in a Graham Braddock Art Workshop taken by Jane Boyd, where we learnt portrait drawing skills. Come into the classroom to get a closer look at what we've drawn.

Today was our first gymnastics session! All the children really enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next 5 sessions.
